If you’ve recently purchased a used car and you’re looking to head out and about in the Norwich area, there are some great places to take your wheels out and about to experience the beauty of the Norfolk countryside.
Head to north Norfolk
A beautiful coastal route, travel north to Hunstanton to experience some of the best scenery Norfolk has to offer. Take the road to Cromer via Wells-next-the-Sea to see England at its best, a route that embodies English seaside charm and allows you to take things at a relaxed pace. Don’t fret if the traffic isn’t fast – it won’t be, but this allows you to enjoy the journey more. And there’s no better way to enjoy your new used car than heading to the seaside.
Continue your journey down the coast
If you can’t get enough of the route from Hunstanton to Cromer, you can easily extend your journey a little further south by continuing on to Great Yarmouth. If you really fancy taking it easy, head to Horsey Gap to snap a photo or two of the shore. This route will take you partially through the Norfolk Broads, too, which are renowned for their beauty and Nature Reserves – so make a day of it and step out of your used car to take in the Norfolk countryside air.
Take the highway near Suffolk
If you’re looking for something a bit more high speed so you can enjoy the thrill of driving, head down the A11 until you get to Thetford. The A11 is notorious for speed cameras, so be careful here, but once you’re in Thetford, take the A134 north to Stradsett and you’ve got plenty of glorious straight stretches to rev your engine along. Of course, ensure you don’t go too wild – keep yourself, other drivers and – of course, your car – safe, but here you can be a bit more of a free spirit before you head back to the lovely city of Norwich.
If you’ve done all three routes in your old car but you think a top-condition used car would improve the experience vastly, then at Spencers, we can say that a used car definitely would!
